As Christians, we can have joy, peace, gladness and happiness, to name a few of the many blessings that come from living wholeheartedly for our great and good Shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ. Here are verses on happiness.

Ps 146:5 'Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:' 

As we have received, Jesus Christ, as our Lord and Savior, we can ask for our God’s help in our daily lives.

Prov 14:21 'He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.' 

There are blessings that come as we are merciful to others, particularly the poor.

Prov 16:20 'He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.' 

As we put our complete trust in God, there is happiness seeing all things working together for good!

Prov 29:18 'Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.' 

As we are doers of God’s Word, there comes happiness! God’s Word is a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our path. God’s Word will keep us from stumbling.

Rom 14:22 'Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.' 

We trust God to give us wisdom to make good choices according to His Word.
