Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Consider the following steps as you prepare yourself to enter the New Year:

1. Remember God’s Unchanging Purpose - God’s purpose for us is that become conformed to the image of His Son.

Rom 8:29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

This conformity is a three-step process:

1. regeneration - when we are born again
2. sanctification  - when we are renewed to the Word of God
3. glorification - when we will be with Jesus one day in heaven

     2.        Respect God’s Unfathomed providence.

Rom 8:28

Eph 1:11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,

      3.       Rest in God’s Unchallenged Protection

Rom 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

       4.      Rejoice in God’s Unfailing Promise

Rom 8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Rom 8:38-39

38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,

39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
